Activities at Brampton View Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Emma Robinson

Activities Lead

My name is Emma. I am the Activities Lead here at Brampton View. I joined the home in 2023 and I bring lots of new and exciting ideas to the role.

Having worked in the role before I am passionate about bringing a smile to all our residents faces and ensuring they make the most of their time here with us.

If you would like to come and chat with me about your family member then please contact the home to arrange this.

We are always open to new ideas. If you would like to get involved in any of our Life Enrichment activities or have a skill, or project you'd like to share with our residents, please click here to contact me direct. New entertainers and community links are always welcome.

Life at Brampton View Care Home

Autumn Crafts

Our residents have been getting crafty and creating the most amazing pieces of seasonal art, themed for Autumn and Halloween!

Marjorie's 100th Birthday!

We all celebrated our fabulous resident Marjorie who turned 100. It was an amazing day; Marjorie wore her favourite colours, and her cake was themed around her favourite colours and flowers. Happy Birthday from everyone at Brampton View.

Tickled Pink Entertainers

We’ve been having some fantastic performers come to Brampton View Care Home and showcase their talents to our joyful residents. It was great to see everyone involved and lots of smiles.

Valley Gardens

We’ve created a Garden Room to do indoor gardening, sensory books, painting, and flower crafts to allow residents to get creative daily. Our central garden is now an evening sensory Light Garden for the residents to walk through and watch with a hot chocolate.

Wildlife Experts

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon with our wildlife expert Chris, who conducted a documentary on bird migration!! Thank you for such an interesting session.

Flower Arranging

‘Thank You’ to our Volunteer Dawn for supporting our master class on flower arranging! The residents thoroughly enjoyed making their own master pieces before taking some of our arrangements to the church to lay for our late Majesty the Queen.
