Activities at Burwood Grange Care Home

Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Chilled afternoon painting dreamcatchers

At Burwood Grange we like to vary our Arts and Crafts Sessions. Residents enjoyed painting these dream catchers in lovely bright colours to catch the sun. Followed with a lovely cuppa and home made spicy apple cake. A real favourite

Peas In a Pod

Just one of our popular activities is our Arts and Crafts group. Making these Peas in a Pod Keyrings was a very stimulating activity for our residents.

The happy smiles on their faces matched the Peas in the Pod when they were told they could keep their finished keyrings

Parkinson's UK Weybridge & Woking Wellbeing Group

Burwood Grange welcomed the Parkinson’s UK group (Woking & Weybridge) for their first meeting held with us today

The group had been looking for a quiet place to hold their weekly meetings and Burwood Grange were very happy to oblige.

After various exercises using resistance bands and other helpful exercises the group enjoyed a lovely sandwich buffet along with home made cake which was very popular with the group.

Sunset Sessions

Our first sunset sessions of the summer took place on Friday and we had an amazing time!

They will be running through the summer on the last Friday of each month until August, so, if you didn't make this one there will be more to come!
