Activities at Burwood Grange Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Lavenders Blue, Dilly Dilly
What a lovely day we had yesterday wandering through Lavender Fields on a lovely Summers day.
Lots of happy smiles and fun in the sun followed by a picnic lunch

A Day at Brooklands Museum
A popular request from our residents was a visit to Brooklands Museum. So off we went and spent the day there looking at vintage cars and even sat in an old aircraft.
After a picnic lunch and some more exploring of the museum it was time to go back to Burwood Grange fro a nice cup of tea and home made lemon drizzle cake and to tell the stories of the day.

Trips Out in Our Mini Bus
At Burwood Grange we have our own Mini Bus and go on weekly trips out.
This week we are visiting Bird World, a popular choice. We go to garden centres in the area or on a lovely sunny day to a local park to enjoy an ice cream of course!

Game, Set and Match
Whilst enjoying prosecco afternoons watching the tennis at Wimbledon, the residents wanted to create their own event
What fun we had this morning! Lots of laughs and competitive spirit
