Activities at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Tina Stovey

Activities Lead /Diversity Champion

I started working at Bushey House Beaumont in 2022 in an activities role that I absolutely love. There are very few jobs that offer the daily satisfaction and fulfilment that mine does. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents’ daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.

Activities and Events Partnerships

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Life at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home

Residents and staff decorate Christmas trees

Residents and staff enjoyed working together to adorn our beautiful Grade Two listed home with seasonal decorations. Residents had fun getting in touch with their creative side as they helped adorn our Christmas trees and making Bushey House even more beautiful.

Christmas card crafting

Arts and crafts were on the menu at Bushey House as residents got stuck in (pun intended!) making their own Christmas cards to share with loved ones. We offer regular arts and crafts sessions as part of our activity programme with a wide variety of activities that are fun and suitable for all.

Diwali celebrated at Bushey House

Residents, family and friends enjoyed a Diwali celebration at Bushey House Beaumont. Members of our staff performed traditional Indian dances and delivered a presentation on the meaning of Diwali. Everybody enjoyed a delicious feast of traditional Indian snacks all brought in by our staff and prepared by our chef Shaun.
