Activities at Chacombe Park Care Home
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Chacombe Park Care Home
Nutrition & Hydration Week
We got up to lots of different things throughout Nutrition & Hydration Week, including making our favourite snacks, baking and having themed afternoon teas with snacks from around the world.
Through the Years
We were joined by a wonderful entertainer who put ona great performance for residents. Everyone sang along to their favourite songs of all time.
Pancake Day
We were joined by local children, who celebrated Shrove Tuesday with us here at Chacombe Park. We hosted a pancake flipping competition, which everyone enjoyed.
Lunch at the Herb Centre
We absolutely love going out for tea and cake, and what could be better than enjoying a nice cup of tea and cake with a glorious view?
Cinema Trip
Some residents love watching films, so going to the cinema is a favourite activity. We stocked up on treats from the local shop and had a great evening!
National Real Bread Week
To celebrate National Real Bread Week, we hosted a bread tasting afternoon with lots of different flavours of bread. This was a great way to stimulate residents' senses through smell, taste and touch.
