Activities at Chacombe Park Care Home
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Chacombe Park Care Home
River Cruise
We enjoyed a river cruise in Stratford-upon-Avon. It was a wonderful day out; the sun was shining as we sailed up the river, taking in all the sights and surroundings that Stratford has to offer. We finished up with our favourite fish and chips.
Waterperry Gardens
We enjoyed picking and tasting the fruits from the trees and the wonderful flower displays the garden has to offer.
Summer Sounds
We rounded off the summer with a wonderful afternoon of music and refreshments. We were joined by DukesUkes, a local ukulele group, who played some fantastic tunes for residents.
Sunny Day Out
We enjoyed a walk in the local park looking at the space-themed flower beds that we planted by the local schools of Banbury.
Punch & Judy
Punch & Judy came to Chacombe recently, which brought back memories of residents sat on the beach watching similar shows.
Pet Therapy
We have been without a PAT dog for a long time, so it was a great delight to be visited by Nancy, who will be joining us on a fortnightly basis.
