Activities at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home

Our Activities Coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular weekly outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre and Cathedral's as well as visits from PAT dogs, visiting zoos, musicians and entertainers. We also host evenings such as our Pizza & Quiz Night that we encourage relatives to come to. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community is fun and active.

I joined Barchester in November 2016 as an senior care assistant and in May 2024 I became the Activity Lead at Chorleywood Beaumont.

It is a joy to work with such a great team and nothing makes me happier to bring joy and laughter into our residents daily lives.

What a wonderful day for the residents of Chorleywood Beaumont! They had a fantastic outing to Van Hage Chenies garden center, where they explored beautiful plants and gifts. Pet therapy at Chorleywood Beaumont.

Performing Pets returned last week to brighten our residents' day with their adorable budgies and charming cockatoo! Every resident had the chance to meet these beautiful birds, and the joy they brought was truly heartwarming. Our residents nursed in bed especially cherish these special interactions. The countdown to Christmas continues here at Chorleywood Beaumont! We were delighted to host a magical afternoon of Christmas carols here at Chorleywood Beaumont, where our residents sang together in harmony, creating a truly festive atmosphere.The enchanting sound of the harp, beautifully played by Lynne from Christ Church Chorleywood added a touch of elegance to the event.Our heartfelt thanks to Warren Tranter and Lynne for joining us and making this celebration so special. Moments like these bring our community closer and fill our home with the true spirit of Christmas.
