Activities at Collingtree Park Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as they can, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.
Martin Tilly-Reed
Hello, my name is Martin, I'm the activities coordinator here at Collingtree Park
My role is to ensure that our activities, outings and the entertainment we provide is stimulating and inclusive of all our residents no matter their challenges. It is important to me that our weekly calendar offers enriching experiences with music from live entertainers, visits to various locations outside the home, as well as arts and crafts tailored to individual abilities.
Getting to know our residents better is so important, and through regular family and friends’ meetings we can gain a greater understanding of their loved ones' interests and life prior to joining Collingtree Park that will make for a richer activities program to be developed.
I look forward to getting to know you, and your loved ones.
We are always open to new ideas. If you would like to get involved in any of our Life Enrichment activities or have a skill, or project you'd like to share with our residents, please click here to contact the activities team direct. New entertainers and community links are always welcome.

Morning Exercise
Thank you to our very own Yvette for a relaxing chair yoga session on Bluebell walk this morning! Deep breathing, big stretches and a great atmosphere - thank you for keeping our residents fit.
Classic Cuts
Here at Collingtree Park, it is so important to us that our residents look and feel special every day. Because of this, we have weekly hairdresser and barber visits to help keep our residents feeling fresh!
Dolls Bring Smiles
Therapy dolls can provide comfort and soothe any negative emotions. A therapy doll can help our residents feel a sense of purpose and may help to remind them of a time when they had young children to look after. Our residents chatter away to the dolls, improving their communication as well as their wellbeing.
Anyone for Bowls?
A competitive game of carpet bowls on Bluebell walk - with Jean taking the final prize!
Tea and Chats
This morning we welcomed Vicar James to our home for his regular Holy Communion service. Residents share a prayer and have a catch up over tea and biscuits.
