Activities at Collingtree Park Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as they can, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.
Martin Tilly-Reed
Hello, my name is Martin, I'm the activities coordinator here at Collingtree Park
My role is to ensure that our activities, outings and the entertainment we provide is stimulating and inclusive of all our residents no matter their challenges. It is important to me that our weekly calendar offers enriching experiences with music from live entertainers, visits to various locations outside the home, as well as arts and crafts tailored to individual abilities.
Getting to know our residents better is so important, and through regular family and friends’ meetings we can gain a greater understanding of their loved ones' interests and life prior to joining Collingtree Park that will make for a richer activities program to be developed.
I look forward to getting to know you, and your loved ones.
We are always open to new ideas. If you would like to get involved in any of our Life Enrichment activities or have a skill, or project you'd like to share with our residents, please click here to contact the activities team direct. New entertainers and community links are always welcome.

Life at Collingtree Park Care Home
Bingo club is growing
Our weekly bingo club at Collingtree Park is getting bigger as the prizes get better (usually in a bottle). We opened a bottle of champagne for some added sophistication.
Late summer bedding plants
This week's gardening club at Collingtree Park was popular. We were planting out some late bedding plants to keep the colour going into autumn.
Happy Fathers Day
We had a party for all our gents at Collingtree Park on Father's Day, with beer, wine, party food, music and lots of visits from families.
A community visitor
We love it when important members of our community visit Collingtree Park and this week it was the local police team who popped in for a cuppa and a cake. You are always welcome!
Jubilee Tea Party
We enjoyed a lovely tea party at Collingtree Park to celebrate the Queen's 70 years. It was a real traditional tea with sandwiches and cakes. Our decorations looked beautiful and our entertainer was great. He sang all our favourites which we joined in with. It was a wonderful weekend and we recalled past jubilees as well as the coronation, which most of us can remember. Congratulations, Your Majesty!
Cakes fit for a Queen
Residents made lots of cupcakes for our Jubilee Party at Collingtree Park. Delicious!
