Activities at Collingtree Park Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as they can, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

Hello, my name is Martin, I'm the activities coordinator here at Collingtree Park
My role is to ensure that our activities, outings and the entertainment we provide is stimulating and inclusive of all our residents no matter their challenges. It is important to me that our weekly calendar offers enriching experiences with music from live entertainers, visits to various locations outside the home, as well as arts and crafts tailored to individual abilities.
Getting to know our residents better is so important, and through regular family and friends’ meetings we can gain a greater understanding of their loved ones' interests and life prior to joining Collingtree Park that will make for a richer activities program to be developed.
I look forward to getting to know you, and your loved ones.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Collingtree Park Care Home
Queen for a day
As well as celebrating Her Majesty we spoiled all the other lovely ladies at Collingtree Park and made sure they were all Queen for a day.
Gardening Club
Now that the good weather is here we have restarted the gardening club at Collingtree Park. Our first planters are ready, and our next job is to fill some lovely hanging baskets ready for our summer party.
Platinum decorations
We are getting excited about the big Platinum Weekend and have started making some decorations for Collingtree Park. Lisa and Harriet, our new Activities Coordinators, are very creative and help to bring out residents' artistic skills, too.
Lunch in the garden
We've had some lovely weather recently so we've been enjoying lunch and a glass of wine in the garden together at Collingtree Park.
Songs with Natasha
We had a lovely afternoon being entertained by Natasha at Collingtree Park, and joining in with some of our favourite songs.
Some cuddly visitors
We were delighted to welcome some friendly little animals back to Collingtree Park. We cuddled guinea pigs, chickens and rabbits who were all very well behaved.

Christmas Fayre
Come along and enjoy a range of stalls and festive fun with our residents and staff as we celebrate all things Christmas on our Open Day. 10am - 4pm.

Community Church Service
Join our Monthly Church Service on the first Wednesday of each month at 10.30am courtesy of Vicar James from Church of St Columba, Collingtree, Northampton.
