Activities at Collingtree Park Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as they can, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

Hello, my name is Martin, I'm the activities coordinator here at Collingtree Park
My role is to ensure that our activities, outings and the entertainment we provide is stimulating and inclusive of all our residents no matter their challenges. It is important to me that our weekly calendar offers enriching experiences with music from live entertainers, visits to various locations outside the home, as well as arts and crafts tailored to individual abilities.
Getting to know our residents better is so important, and through regular family and friends’ meetings we can gain a greater understanding of their loved ones' interests and life prior to joining Collingtree Park that will make for a richer activities program to be developed.
I look forward to getting to know you, and your loved ones.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Collingtree Park Care Home
Sunday Service
Residents enjoy going to St Luke’s Church in Duston for monthly holy communion, followed by tea and cakes.
Blooming Lovely!
Residents always enjoy going to our garden centres to see the wonderful selection of plants and flowers.
Pets as Therapy
The residents are always pleased to see Ally and her owner Josie. Ally enjoys her cuddles as much as the residents! They are firm favourites here in the home.
Seaside Time
Residents visited Sheringham and Cromer in Norfolk. Although it was bit windy, the sun shone. They enjoyed fish and chips, went on the pier and visited the amusements. It was a long day, but everyone said it was worth it.
Our New Furry Friend
We have unofficially adopted a wandering cat; her name is Bella and the residents are loving having her here.
Afternoon Chill Time
Residents really enjoy putting their feet up and relaxing in our beautiful gardens.

Christmas Fayre
Come along and enjoy a range of stalls and festive fun with our residents and staff as we celebrate all things Christmas on our Open Day. 10am - 4pm.
