Activities at Collingtree Park Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as they can, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

Hello, my name is Martin, I'm the activities coordinator here at Collingtree Park
My role is to ensure that our activities, outings and the entertainment we provide is stimulating and inclusive of all our residents no matter their challenges. It is important to me that our weekly calendar offers enriching experiences with music from live entertainers, visits to various locations outside the home, as well as arts and crafts tailored to individual abilities.
Getting to know our residents better is so important, and through regular family and friends’ meetings we can gain a greater understanding of their loved ones' interests and life prior to joining Collingtree Park that will make for a richer activities program to be developed.
I look forward to getting to know you, and your loved ones.

Life at Collingtree Park Care Home
The Golfing Guys
After a great trip to the local golf club, these gentlemen enjoyed a quick drink at the clubhouse.
Road Trip
After a lovely drive through the countryside, we decided to stop off after for some ice cream at the drive through.
Birthday Celebrations
Residents enjoyed some birthday celebrations in the local garden centre. What could be better than coffee, cake, chocolates and balloons? Cheers!
Fun in the Sun
We had a great trip to Bell Plantation in Towcester, where the residents enjoyed lunch in the sun. There were lots of creatures to see, including chameleons, lizards, snakes and spiders!
Football Fever
After much excitement, the winner of the World Cup sweepstake was revealed after France war crowned champions. Well done, and thank you for sharing your chocolate!
Summer House Reopening
We invited residents along with family and friends to the reopening of our beach hut, where we had a sing song to live music along with ice cream and fruity drinks. The Beach Hut name was revealed on the day of the opening which was a combination of ideas from residents. A huge thank you to everyone that joined us and helped make it a day to remember.

Community Church Service
Join our Monthly Church Service on the first Wednesday of each month at 10.30am courtesy of Vicar James from Church of St Columba, Collingtree, Northampton.
