Activities at Collingtree Park Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as they can, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

Hello, my name is Martin, I'm the activities coordinator here at Collingtree Park
My role is to ensure that our activities, outings and the entertainment we provide is stimulating and inclusive of all our residents no matter their challenges. It is important to me that our weekly calendar offers enriching experiences with music from live entertainers, visits to various locations outside the home, as well as arts and crafts tailored to individual abilities.
Getting to know our residents better is so important, and through regular family and friends’ meetings we can gain a greater understanding of their loved ones' interests and life prior to joining Collingtree Park that will make for a richer activities program to be developed.
I look forward to getting to know you, and your loved ones.

Volunteer Week
A huge thank you to David and the girls from Northampton High School for volunteering their own time each week to spend time with Collingtree residents.
June Open Day
Everyone joined in singing with the live band during our June open day. Residents played instruments and sang along to well-known songs from the '60s and '70s.
Ice Cream Indulgence
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! We all enjoyed a yummy ice cream from Abington Park's huge selection of flavours!
We're Blue
During our recent Gardening Club, we decided to give our summer house a ‘face lift’ to go with our new seaside corner of the garden. We will be having a re-opening ceremony on June 27th, so please come along and see the residents' hard work!
'70s Day
We all got our boogie on at the home during our '70s disco. We danced the afternoon away to live '70s music by a resident favourite, Natasha!
Gardening Club
During our most recent Gardening Club, our keen gardeners potted different herb, including parsley, basil and chives. Residents have been checking the herbs' progress each day.
Upcoming events
Christmas Fayre
Come along and enjoy a range of stalls and festive fun with our residents and staff as we celebrate all things Christmas on our Open Day. 10am - 4pm.

Community Church Service
Join our Monthly Church Service on the first Wednesday of each month at 10.30am courtesy of Vicar James from Church of St Columba, Collingtree, Northampton.
