Activities at Falmouth Court Care Home
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Activities and Events Partnerships

Life at Falmouth Court Care Home

National Nurses Day
We are delighted to share a heartwarming story of appreciation and generosity from our residents here at Falmouth Court Care Home. Today, our residents joined hands to express their gratitude to the district nurses who have been providing exceptional care and support to our community.
With creativity and love, our residents spent the afternoon crafting beautiful thank you cards, pouring their heartfelt appreciation into each stroke of the pen. These cards are tokens of gratitude, acknowledging the dedication and compassion the district nurses have shown to our residents and the wider community. Their kindness and commitment truly make a difference in our lives.
But the act of gratitude didn't stop there! Hugh, our Home Services advisor, decided to extend the appreciation by delivering freshly baked cakes to the district nurses' office and Falmouth Hospital. These scrumptious treats, made with love by our talented kitchen team, are a small gesture to brighten their day and show our deep appreciation for their tireless work.
The smiles and joy on the faces of the district nurses were priceless as they received the thoughtful cards and delectable cakes. It was a beautiful moment of connection and gratitude, where the efforts of our residents and staff were met with heartfelt appreciation from the healthcare heroes who serve our community with compassion and care.

They took along some delicious cakes baked by the homes Head Chef, Jon Moyle and some goodie bags for all to enjoy.
Megan Beck, Director of Grays Wharf, said “The generous grant from Barchester has enabled us to buy art supplies for our creative social groups, supporting us to keep them going. Our members often comment on how great it is to have access to a wide range of drawing and painting materials, inspiring them to have a go and be proud of what they create”
