Activities at Glebefields Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Musical Entertainment
We had a lovely afternoon at Glebefields Care Home - Barchester Healthcare, enjoying a musical entertainment by Fiona Harrison - A Voice in a Million. Fiona's Easter selection of songs and stories was simply beautiful, and it brought smiles to the faces of all our residents and staff. The home was filled with happiness as everyone clapped and sang along with Fiona, making it a happy afternoon for all us.
Easter Celebration and Egg Hunt
A big thank you to everyone who came along to our Easter Egg Hunt at Glebefields. It was such a fun afternoon, full of laughter and excitement. Kids, residents, staff, families, and friends all joined in the fun. We had a great time searching for Easter eggs, showing off our homemade Easter Bonnets, and playing games together.
Our lovely resident, Joan, won first prize for her Easter Bonnet. And of course, everyone else received prizes too, because everyone did such a fantastic job. We enjoyed some delicious treats at our afternoon tea. Thanks to your support, we raised money for our residents' fund, which will help us plan more outings in the future. Your kindness means a lot to us. A big shoutout to everyone who made our Easter Celebration so special. Let's keep spreading joy and making memories together. See you at the next event.

Happy Easter
We celebrated Easter with our residents and staff. Day was filled with lots of memorable moments and enjoyable activities. We began the day with a special surprise for our residents - Easter Eggs for all.
We were honoured to welcome Lindy Bridgeman from St Peter Church, Drayton Ironstone Benefice Oxfordshire, who shared Easter blessings and presented our residents with lovely plants. Their presence truly added to the blessings and joy of the day.
Our chef prepared a delicious Easter lunch that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Later in the afternoon, we gathered for a relaxed movie session accompanied by Easter cake and afternoon tea, creating a cosy atmosphere for all to enjoy.
