Activities at Hall Park Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!
Natasha Lindo
Natasha is the Activities Coordinator here at Hall Park. Natasha really enjoys her job as no two days are ever the same. The life enrichment and daily activities program aims to provide stimulation for the mind, body and soul by engaging with residents daily. We all love to use our imagination and here we encourage creative activities. We also have a minibus which is used weekly to take residents out to cafes, local beauty spots and day trips.

Life at Hall Park Care Home
National Trust talk
Our homes had a fantastic time joining National Trust Talks Service team at Cliveden House for an inspirational talk on Nancy Astor – the first woman to take a seat in the House of Commons.
Our residents had the opportunity to learn more about the fascinating life of Nancy and her political career. As the first women MP, she experienced both attention and scandal throughout her life, which led to many triumphs and numerous disasters. The talk was truly enjoyed by all.
Ferndown florist demo
Our homes had a lovely time joining Sue and Nicole from Ferndown Florist for an intriguing flower arrangement workshop in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Our residents enjoyed a wonderful virtual demonstration and got inspired to create their own flower posies for our Jubilee displays. Our home will be specially decorated for the upcoming festivities. Stay tuned.
Book corner with Graham Whitlock
We had a lovely time joining Graham Whitlock for an exciting virtual event to discuss his book ‘The Crystal Palace Chronicles: Star of Nimrod’.
Our residents were thrilled to find out more about the book and the fictional character Joe, who went on a rollercoaster adventure travelling back in time to the heyday of Victorian Crystal Palace.
Everyone had lots of fun during the virtual talk, as Graham took them on a clever and hilarious adventure. A great time was had by all.
A Poem for St George
During our St Georges Day activity session one of our newer residents Susan wrote an amazing poem entitled 'A Poem for St George'. It was so well received by other residents and staff that her words have been immortalised on the walls of Hall Park's Memory Lane
Creative Paths
Hall Park had a visit from Creative Paths where we discussed the Queen’s 70 years of reign. Fully enjoyed and we had an arts and crafts session creating art work which will be printed on a cloak for the Queens Jubilee. here we have Peggy showing off her design
Eurovision
Hall Park residents had fun with a Eurovision party in our bar lounge where we tested their Eurovision knowledge with an Oomph quiz also lots of singing and dancing..
