Activities at Hampton Grove Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

A trip to the 1940s

We took a trip back in time to the 1940's. A little tea room in Kettering called The Blitz. Everywhere you looked there was memories, the old money, tins that food came in, music boxes, old outfits, gas masks, photos newspaper's even the tables were made out of the old sewing machine basis.

It had to be done, some residents even tried on the hats....

The residents enjoyed afternoon tea their in bone China tea sets. Their words were, " this is amazing, I love it here, the food is so good, Look at that old...... it brings back memories".

I'm sure we will be returning there in the near future so other residents can explore too.
