Activities at Hampton Grove Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

I started working for Barchester in October 2020. The team here at Hampton Grove have made me feel welcome. No day is ever the same here.
My varied daily activities and events help to create a stimulating engagement programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Hampton Grove Care Home
Boots "N" Strings visited
Boots "N" Strings visited Hampton Grove the other day blasting out some old song which the residents joined in and danced too.
Fire station visit!!
Hampton Grove had the pleasure of meeting Blue watch from Stand ground fire station.
Residents were shown around the engine and explained where and what things were used for.
A massive thank you to Blue Watch for taking the time out to pop over when they could, to see us.
Skydive
Today at Hampton Grove we had Heather Hooper from the Alzheimer society visit, so we could present a cheque for £1500.71 raised by Lauren from activities & Debs our volunteer for doing their skydive.
Dog show!!
Lots of fun had here at Sunday's dog show at Hampton Grove.
April from the Dog Trust came and judged the ten classes for us, and every dog was a winner.
The total raised for the Dog trust was £56.
Quiz and Chips Night
Quiz Fish & Chip night last night, went down very well.
Residents totally enjoyed some traditional fish & chips with a good old Quiz testing there knowledge and memories.
Lunch at The Boat House
A wonderful day for all out and about looking over the lakes and wildlife, then we went on to having lunch at The Boat House.
