Activities at Hilton Park Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Hello, my name is Jenelyn and I am the head of activities here at Hilton Park.
Having started my Barchester journey as a carer back in 2019, I have gained good experience of working closely with our residents. After being a carer I then moved onto the Activities team and thoroughly enjoyed working as an Activities co-ordinator, which led to my promotion to Activity Lead.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing the smiles on our residents faces.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Hilton Park Care Home
University Museum of Zoology in Cambridge Visit;
This morning we had a trip to University Museum of Zoology in Cambridge. We all enjoyed a wonderful and interesting trip learning about different reptiles, dating back to the time of the dinosaurs. On our way back we stopped at Grand Arcade Cafe where we had a well-earned cup of tea or coffee with a lovely gingerbread muffin.
Celebrating 100th Birthday!
Hilton Park in Bottisham wishing a huge happy 100th Birthday to our lovely Esther! We hope you had a great day surrounded by all your loved ones.
Dementia Café visit
Hilton Park were invited to our sister home 'Oaklands' today to the launch of their first monthly dementia café events. We enjoyed wonderful hospitality alongside other residents with fresh coffee, tea and a range of tasty treats!
Carnival Party
Today residents in Hilton Park celebrated Notting Hill Carnival. To acknowledge the event we celebrate Carnival with a Caribbean themed party of our own, Residents and family enjoy some fantastic music vocals from Alex Southgate along with an energetic tap dancing show from Katie in the sunny outdoor.

We are also grateful to our wonderful catering staff for providing wonderful lunchtime cold plates!
International Friendship Day
We enjoyed celebrating International Friendship Day across the home. One of the best things is to see our wonderful residents bond and make friendships with one another, we had lots of fun, smiles and socials with the residents all taking part in art & Crafts.
Upcoming events
Christmas Fete
Come along to Hilton Park for a festive afternoon of carols with The Banjo Man and United Christian Church Choir. Festive treats will also be available for all.
