Activities at Hilton Park Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Jenelyn Szabo

Activity Coordinator

Hello, my name is Jenelyn and I am the head of activities here at Hilton Park.

Having started my Barchester journey as a carer back in 2019, I have gained good experience of working closely with our residents. After being a carer I then moved onto the Activities team and thoroughly enjoyed working as an Activities co-ordinator, which led to my promotion to Activity Lead.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing the smiles on our residents faces.

Father's Day at Hilton Park

Father's Day at Hilton Park was a lovely day of celebrations, where our gents enjoyed a relaxing shandy whilst reading cards and opening gifts from their families. We all celebrated together and had a great time.

Great Fun for a Virtual Royal Ascot

Everybody at Hilton Park had a brilliant day celebrating a virtual Royal Ascot.  The residents made hats and fascinators to wear, and there were prizes for the best headwear and for the sweepstake winners.

Beautiful Gardens

We are so lucky here at Hilton Park to have such beautiful gardens. Our residents get outside regularly to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Our gardener works very hard to maintain the plants and they really are in fine form at the moment. We are delighted to be able to invite family members in to visit residents at a social distance within our gardens at set times. If you are interested in booking, please get in touch.

Queens Birthday Celebrations

Our residents celebrated the Queens Birthday on Saturday in style. We had a beautiful cake and the residents also made a big collage of pictures of the lady herself!
