Activities at Hundens Park Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can

Life at Hundens Park Care Home
Sound Therapy
Diane came to deliver sound therapy to residents at Hundens – and it was a big hit! These sessions were hosted in an effort to improve residents' physical and mental well-being. Many instruments were used, from the biggest gong to the tiniest tuning forks – and we all felt refreshed.
Four-Legged Friends
Hundens Park residents met another four-legged friend recently when Blondie the pony came to visit. She was all dressed up in red, white and blue for the royal wedding. She even had her nails painted in glitter. We think she’s a good fit for the wedding procession.
Fun in the Sun
Residents at Hundens had fun in the sun recently, planting flowers and shrubs and hanging our new wind chimes, which will help us bring our sound therapy now that summer is almost upon us.
Royal Wedding Preparations
We have been decorating the home in eager anticipation of the royal wedding. Staff and residents all got in the mood for celebrations and everyone cracked up at our royal disguises.
Jasper Joins Us Again
Hundens again played host to Jasper and Donna. Jasper has been poorly for a while and everyone was very happy to see him again.
Soaking up the Sun
We had a couple of lovely sunny days, so staff and residents spent some well-deserved time outside. We all enjoyed the fresh air and the whole garden was looking great! Some new homes were even installed for our feathered friends to enjoy.
