Activities at Hundens Park Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can

Pet Therapy
Hundens played host to Jasper the dog as part of our pet therapy initiative. He enjoyed meeting residents and another four-legged friend who was also visiting.

Employee of the Month - January
Hundens Park celebrated the dedication and hard work of Admin Assistant, Claire Bott, our well-deserved Employee of the Month for January.
Claire has worked tirelessly to help out whilst the home has been without an Administrator; she has even faced her fear of minute-taking. Claire’s contribution has made all of the difference!
Barchester's 25th Anniversary
Barchester’s 25th anniversary was celebrated in style when Hundens Park held afternoon entertainment on 25th October 2017!
Residents, families, friends and staff welcomed Claire Louise, vintage songstress, who sang classics from the 1920s to the 1960s.
Letter from the Queen
We received a letter from the Queen when we sent her a birthday card.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
We hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning here at Hundens - and it was a huge success! There was plenty of cake, tea and, of course, coffee for everyone to enjoy.
