Activities at Iddenshall Hall Care Home
Activities here at Iddenshall Hall are an integral part of every day life for each of our residents. We strive to include as many of our residents as possible with the activities schedule. Our Schedule is released monthly and includes activities such as poetry afternoons, indoor games, Bingo, flower arranging, pamper days, quizzes, exercises, various musicians and entertainers, Pat Dog Visits, Music Therapy, discussion groups and trips out in our minibus to local places of interest and further afield to see the Blackpool Lights or to Knowsley Safari Park.
We are constantly asking the people who live in our home which events they would like to see taking place and we endeavor to fulfill these requests. Our aim is to provide a varied and packed schedule which allows for a vast array of skill bases and capabilities. We are in constant contact with local groups and businesses, the local Beaver Scout group are always happy to pay a visit to our home, helping with the garden or coming at Christmas to sing carols for us. We also have a small group of volunteers to help us, including pupils from our local 6th form College who visit once a week.
All the above helps ensure the lives of our Residents are fun and fulfilled.

Life at Iddenshall Hall Care Home
London Fashion Week
The residents here at Iddenshall Hall enjoyed an afternoon of fashion. Talking, looking at magazines and watching YouTube videos, where we saw & knew what's coming next season, but more fun was when some of our residents modelled on the catwalk completing our fashion day.
Valentines Days at Iddenshall Hall
Love was certainly in the air at Iddenshall Hall & Beeston View this Valentine’s Day!
The residents spent a very enjoyable day singing romantic ballads with one of their favourite entertainers, Sandra Currie, making and eating delicious cupcakes and creating individual cards for their loved ones.
Chinese New Year
Iddenshall Hall & Beeston View celebrated Chinese New Year with a live musical evening from Sandra Currie at Beeston View, and a fun section in Iddenshall Hall. With costumes and accessories, our residents enjoyed dressing up and having lots of fun!
Virtual event with Royal Parks
Across our services our residents have enjoyed a wonderful live virtual talk about starlings, one of the UK’s most gregarious birds, hosted by Rachel Dowse from The Royal Parks London.
Rachel examined our long history with this bird and the importance of common species to our lives. Our residents had the opportunity to find out more about the great murmuration and why we need to pay special attention to these beauties before it's too late.
The virtual experience was truly enjoyed by all.
New Year's crafts
Residents enjoy their creative craft group, today was a lively session as residents began to create their New Year’s Eve decorations and hats, and they took advantage of talking about how time has passed and what they want for the next year and the ways in which they have celebrated New Year’s Eve. They all agreed that the best is to have a good health.
Festive cocktails
Residents here at Iddenshall Hall enjoy their group activities and this one was no different as they enjoyed a festive cocktail making session. Everyone enjoyed the process, the smell of ingredients used and the taste. This encouraged them for the following, which was the Party to start the celebration year end and ready for the next. Residents, families and staff enjoyed the dance and the joy.
