Activities at Kenwyn Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Kenwyn’s Activities Team consist’s of Chloe and Beth and is headed up by Harvey. The team work tirelessly planning life enriching activities and events. Plans often need to be changed very quickly to ensure current Covid guidelines are adhered to, so they have back up plans too! Kenwyn’s chef took some time out of her busy schedule to work with the team to plan a Christmas Buffet for Kenwyn’s lovely residents. Delicious festive treats were plentiful and there was a huge spread. The Activities Team donned their Christmas accessories to host the event. Spreading Festive Cheer in the Community

Here are some of Kenwyn’s festive, mouth watering offerings: delicious  Mince Pies. Yesterday, Home Services Advisor, Adele Beaton, gathered together gift bags filled with sweets and treats, along with cake boxes piled high and filled with Mince Pies and whisked off to visit business’s in the local community - to deliver Christmas cheer.
