Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Lovely afternoon Chatting in our Courtyard Garden
What could be lovelier than spending an hour or two in the garden chatting with a good friend? Residents often enjoy sitting out in their central courtyard garden. The home has a daily activities & lifestyle enrichment plan and residents choose how to spend their days.
Employee of the Month ~ Kate Aughton
Kate deserves her recognition as employee of the month. Kate goes above and beyond on a daily basis to support our residents, staff and relatives of Latimer Court. Thank you Kate!
Ice Cream Van Is a welcome Visitor
The staff and residents were all happy to see the ice cream van arrive. Sunny weather and a glorious 99 with a chocolate flake, what could be a better way to spend a day!
Knit & Natter Group
The ladies look forward to our Knit & Natter group, with equal amounts of knitting and chatting! Companionship with friends and knitting are good for our mind, body & soul.
Arts & Crafts
We enjoyed therapeutic glass painting weaving, making crepe flowers. With good company we had a fun afternoon and a real sense of achievement. We shared with each other our creations, all accompanied by refreshing drinks and biscuits.
Carers Week
Carer's week is an opportunity for us to thank all our wonderful team. We had a BBQ and treats, the gardens were decorated with a balloon archway for them to walk under and receive their goody bag. Our residents wanted to thank you on their behalf too.
