Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Employee of the Month
Congratulations Chandra on becoming our Employee of the Month for November 2020. Chandra is a much loved carer, voted employee of the month by her colleagues at Latimer Court for "always going over and above for her community". Christmas Tree Decorating
This week our residents have enjoyed decorating our various community Christmas Trees and 'oh no' that naughty little Elf has been at it again!

Community Christmas Cakes
It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas! Several of our Beaufort Community ladies have been making their own Christmas cakes. From measuring the ingredients, to soaking the fruit in brandy overnight before mixing the cake together and baking them in one of our living kitchens. Now baked they are ready to be fed regularly with brandy over the comings weeks; before icing and decoration – we’re so excited to see the final creations.
Magic Painting Brings Joy
One of our memory lane residents has found a new activity ‘aqua painting’ and she’s completely engaged in painting these beautiful images. With a little water mixture and an artist brush, she has found and activity she can completely immerse herself in, she has a wonderful time watching the pictures appear, smiling throughout.
Gift of Kindness from Asda
Our residents and staff have just received a wonderful surprise from our local Asda store in Worcester - A shopping trolley packed with a selection of gifts and sweet treats. Big thank you from everyone at Latimer court to Lynda, Asda’s Community Champion #asdaworcestersupercentre and colleagues for their generosity.
