Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Our aim is to make sure that those we support can enjoy a happy and fulfilled stay with us. You can take a look at some of our regular activities by clicking here.

Life at Latimer Court Care Home
Remembrance Sunday
On Remembrance Sunday we not only observed our 2 minutes of silence we also decorated Poppy Fairy cakes. Our wonderful Chef Tony baked us 60 Fairy cakes and we decorated them with Butter Cream icing and topped them off with edible poppy images. The images where edible paper. We had enough for all 4 communities to remember our Fallen Hero’s.
Remembrance Day
The Latimer Court team and residents paid their respects on the 11th day at the 11th hour with a two-minute silence across the home. Many residents enjoyed drawing and hand crafting poppies to decorate individual afternoon tea serving plates. They took time to reminiscence by sharing their experiences with the team over tea and cake. #LestWeForget
Cupcake Competition Winners
A big thank you to the Worcester community for taking part in our Cupcake competition. It's taken our residents sometime to go through all the fantastic entries, they found it incredibly difficult to pick just one... so they choose two!
Our winners were; 'Chocolate' by Logan from Nunnary Wood Primary School and 'Sherbet Rainbow' by Sienna from Cherry Orchard Primary School. Silver stars went to many other entries. The fabulous designs and super delicious ingredients made us want to make, and definitely eat them all!
"Big Thanks" from all at Latimer Court for taking part and ultimately raising money for #StRichardsHospice #WorcesterCommunity #ThankYou
Thank You Worcester Royal Hospital
During our flower arranging session today, the residents of Latimer Court had the wonderful idea of sending 'THANKS' to the amazing staff at Worcester Royal Hospital. Our Latimer fairy; Libby has been out delivering their small floral creations - we hope you like them #ThankYouNHS #WorcesterRoyalHospital We appreciate all you do!
Halloween Week 2020
Our residents have enjoyed getting in the spirit of Halloween with a spooky breakfast, photos and frolics. Our memory lane residents choose to watch 'Hocus Pocus' in the cinema room while others enjoyed 'Carry on Screaming' in the lounges!
Cupcake Piping
Our living kitchens were the perfect place to try some cupcake topping today. Apparently not as easy as Head Chef Tony makes it look! Well done to all our lovely residents who gave piping chocolate-cream a try.
