Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Local Community Kindness
The residents and care staff at Latimer Court were amazed to receive a wonderful wicker basket packed full of crossword and Sudoku puzzle books, chocolate and biscuits, magazines and mindfulness colouring books, pens and pencils for our residents to help relieve any boredom they may have during this time. The whole home can't thank you enough for your kindness, it's great to know our local community care.
#LatimerSmiles Rainbow
Our wonderful residents took time today to paint the biggest rainbow as a message to all their loved ones, family, friends and the local community, that although they are missing everyone dearly they stand united within the home to keep smiling!

Latimer Court has put out a request to all local school children and nursey groups to keep-in-touch through art & crafts. We welcome any paintings, pictures and letters to our residents that will help brighten up their days during these isolating times.
Flippin' great Pancake Day
The residents, staff and visiting guests at Latimer Court were treated to a selection of home-made pancakes today with lashings of delicious toppings. No holding back on the calorie intake today; Chef has been flipping all morning. The sayings of the day appeared to be ‘ok just one more’ and ‘that’s it no more chocolate till Easter’… we’ll see!
Clay Crafting
The residents of Latimer Court spent time getting crafty with clay during January. They had great fun making animals and small figurines before glazing to present to friends and family as gifts of thanks to see in the new year.
Creative Arts and Crafts
Residents joined together today to create a beautiful mobile for our Valentine's display. Anna from Creative Mojo joined us to put our residents artistic skills to the test. The ladies and gents sat down and discussed some of their favourite things to help create this masterpiece.
One lady said that she hasn’t seen a robin for a while, so she thought her contribution should be a robin red breast so that every time she looked at the mobile in the home it would make her smile.
Poetry of Love on Valentine's Day
Several of our lovely residents at Latimer Court spent time reciting 'poems of love' to all on Valentine's Day. We thank you all lady’s for making the day so very special.
