Activities at Mill Court Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Christmas Table Centrepieces

Christmas Table Centrepieces

We had an amazing time at Mill Court creating Christmas table centrepieces through the live virtual event workshop hosted by master florist Kathryn Delve. It was fantastic to see everyone's creativity come to life as we enter the festive period!

Mill Court's Official Opening

Our new luxury care home in Shalford, has opened its doors in style, with a Grand Opening performed by Councillor Sallie Barker, Mayor of Guildford, in front of invited guests from the local community.

Our CEO, Dr Pete Calveley, and General Manager, Jogie Dellota, hosted the event and invited guests to view the stunning new 60-bed care home, along with its beautiful landscaped gardens, which is now open and welcoming its first residents.

The home has been designed with residents’ comfort in mind and the team at Mill Court will offer residential support, respite stays and specialised dementia care, all delivered by a dedicated and passionate team of trained professionals.

Dining Experience

Chef Emma treated the team to a delightful dining experience, showcasing her exceptional culinary skill with freshly prepared homemade meals. It provided a wonderful preview of the delicious food residents can look forward at Mill Court.

Cheese & Wine Evening

We had a fantastic evening at Mill Court with our neighbours, enjoying good wine, delicious cheeses, and plenty of laughs at our first Cheese & Wine evening. Our guests, now our friends, had the opportunity to have a sneak peak at Mill Court, having a tour, speaking to fellow neighbours, the Mill Court team and enjoying the music from the Saxophonist...

Cafe Naming Competition!

We recently held Facebook competition to name our cafe, and the winning entry, '"Swan Cafe" came from local sisters at Tillingbourne Junior School! Georgie & Connie, our talented winners, visited to collect their prize of Amazon Vouchers and Haribo treats!

We warmly invite everyone to join us at Swan Cafe for cozy coffee and cake! See you there!
