Activities at Mill Court Care Home

Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Life at Mill Court Care Home

Cheese & Wine Evening

We had a fantastic evening at Mill Court with our neighbours, enjoying good wine, delicious cheeses, and plenty of laughs at our first Cheese & Wine evening. Our guests, now our friends, had the opportunity to have a sneak peak at Mill Court, having a tour, speaking to fellow neighbours, the Mill Court team and enjoying the music from the Saxophonist...

Cafe Naming Competition!

We recently held Facebook competition to name our cafe, and the winning entry, '"Swan Cafe" came from local sisters at Tillingbourne Junior School! Georgie & Connie, our talented winners, visited to collect their prize of Amazon Vouchers and Haribo treats!

We warmly invite everyone to join us at Swan Cafe for cozy coffee and cake! See you there!

Wear It Pink Day

Wear it Pink Day

Today at Mill Court Care Home we are taking part in Wear it Pink Day to support over 20 years of Breast Cancer Now - raising awareness and supporting lives of those affected across the UK.

Our team have come in wearing pink to support this wonderful charity with balloons to add to the dress code!

The Mill Court team are here!

It has been a big day for us here at Mill Court as our staff team officially joined us for their first day of training!

After a group introduction and a tour of their new home they got stuck straight in to a hands on activity. As part of their manual handling training, new build trainers Kieran and Emma asked the team to replicate a spine using strawberry laces, smarties, marshmallows and mints.

Jogie and Daniela were asked to judge the competition and decide which team had made the best spine. Their winners were Luba, Alex and Marius - Congratulations!
