Activities at Paternoster House Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Life at Paternoster House Care Home
Rudolph came to say hello
Santa's missing a reindeer
As always Performing Pets brought a little bit of magic to our care home when Star the reindeer came to see our residents and staff.
Everyone was overjoyed during the visit and was absolutely amazed to see a reindeer in their home.
Festive sing along with Anastasia
It's always fun when Anastasia visits us here at Paternoster House.
Our monthly music for health session was enjoyed by resident's, relatives and staff who took part in a range of gentle exercises, and a musical quiz. We also shook our tambourines while singing along to Christmas Carols.
A truly Festive gift for our residents
We would like to say a special Thank You to Danielle from Flowers by Danielle - Waltham Abbey for this lovely gift to us here at Paternoster House
Epping Ongar Memory train
A wonderful trip to Epping Ongar Railway for their Christmas memory train ride with Epping Forest Dementia Action Alliance.
The train departed from North Weald Steam railway station and took everyone on a magical trip enjoying a range of Christmas carols, mulled wine and mince pies with a truly wonderful Christmas scenery to view. Residents were amazed with the whole experience and we would like to thank everyone involved for putting on such a great experience for all.
Talented Jamie Callis
An amazing morning as always here at Paternoster House with the very talented Jamie Callis - Solo Artist.
Everyone enjoyed a festive morning being entertained by Jamie as he sang a range of Christmas hits. The whole room was dancing and singing away, and everyone sure did have a fantastic time.
Magical Christmas trip to garden centre
A magical trip out to Tyndall's Garden Centre on Friday afternoon as part of our life enrichment programme for a spot of Christmas shopping.
Residents enjoyed looking around the garden centre at all the pretty Christmas decorations and could not resist a bite to eat in their coffee shop.
