Activities at Rose Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!
Jane Ritchie
Hello, my name is Jane and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Lodge and I have been here since 2010 .
My role is to engage and stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. I want to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible.
Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I am passionate about, It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we do with them. We enjoy creating new and special memories together.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Rose Lodge Care Home
Cake Baking
Residents had a lovely time baking cakes with lots of chocolate – and they were finger-licking good!
The Banjo Man
Residents enjoyed a morning singing along to The Banjo Man. Residents really enjoy when he comes to play for them.
Brinks Colour Run
A Carer and a resident participated in the Brinks Colour Run on 20th May in Wisbech Town Park. They got covered head to toe in coloured powders and had a really fun time.
Royal Wedding Celebrations
Residents celebrated the royal wedding with afternoon tea and lovely cakes. Staff at the home dressed up for the day and joined with the fun as well.
Furry Visitors
Rose Lodge had another visit from the guinea pigs on 15th May, which was fun for everyone.
Movie Magic
Residents enjoyed a morning out at the cinema to see Roman Holiday on 14th May. During the break, residents enjoyed tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits.
