Activities at Rose Lodge Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Hello, my name is Jane and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Lodge and I have been here since 2010 .

My role is to engage and stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. I want to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible.

Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I am passionate about, It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we do with them. We enjoy creating new and special memories together.

Employee of the Month - August

Beccy was awarded August's Employee of the Month award with multiple nominations. She is always cheerful and helpful; she will step up and help in other areas, such as escorting residents to appointments, taking the drinks trolley around the home when care staff are very busy. Beccy makes time to chat to visitors when they come into Rose Lodge and is a very valuable member of the team.

Care Home Open Day at Rose Lodge

Care Home Open Day at Rose Lodge

We had a fantastic day here at Rose Lodge for Care Home Open Day!

We had a visit from the local Mayor who spent a lot of time talking with all the residents in the home. We also had a visit from our local musical therapy lady, Trudie, who sang us some lovely songs whilst the residents had a lovely tea party, complete with cakes, chocolates and other snacks as well as tea, coffee and lemonade!

Thank you to all who came down on the day and made it a great success.
