Activities at Ross Court Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Life at Ross Court Care Home
Beautiful Performance
Ross Court had the pleasure of a visit from Amelia who at only 9 and a very talented pianist. The residents absolutely loved her playing, such a treat for us all. Thank you Amelia we so appreciated your performance.
Hawaiian Summer Party
The Ross Court Hawaiian Summer Party was a brilliant event, so much fun and so many great photos taken. The decorations created by the residents and our own very creative Hayley looked wonderful and all added to the atmosphere of the day. Residents’ favourite Mansel performed and there were delicious summer foods and cocktails. Thank you to the whole team for such a fun day the residents, staff and families all enjoyed it so much.
Afternoon Tea and Wine!
Today at Ross Court we planned a traditional afternoon tea. There was tea, coffee and also wine! Darren our chef put together beautifully presented cucumber sandwiches, Scones with Jam and Cream as well as a selection of cakes. It really was most enjoyable, you can't beat an afternoon tea.
Hawaiian Hair Flowers
Ross Court residents are getting ready for our Hawaiian Day by making flowers for their hair. They all looked great and were fun to make. Ben our visiting dog came back from his holiday today and residents were so pleased to see him back, such a character he knows how popular he is!
A Day of Fun!
Friday was a real day of fun at Ross Court starting with our manager Amy dancing into breakfast with Rosemary! There was yoga with Poppy this morning and singing from Bob in the afternoon what a lovely, busy and crazy day with some great photos!
Ross Court Commonwealth Games
It was Ross Court’s own mini Commonwealth Games today. Residents gathered in the gardens and played a variety of different games, the winners won a little gold cup and a medal.
We also made our ice-cream, this went down a treat with marshmallows, 100s and 1000s Biscoff, and topped with chocolate or strawberry sauce.
