Activities at Sherwood Court Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

A Visit from Brian with his Fiddle

Residents had a lovely surpruse this afternoon when Brian came to play his fiddle. Brian took the time to visit each resident in the home and play them a tune. Everybody has really enjoyed this and can't wait to welcome Brian back again soon.

Here at Sherwood Court, some serious concentration has been going on. Our residents have been taking on puzzles and colouring, it’s the little things that can really stimulate the mind. The residents have really enjoyed this activity.

Relaxing with Sensory Lights

Here at Sherwood court, some of our residents are relaxing with sensory lights. They are a calming and relaxing piece of equipment that help create stimulating environments for all needs. This also helps with focusing on attention to detail and helps soothe.
