Activities at Sherwood Court Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Sherwood Court Care Home
Starlings with Royal Parks
Across our services our residents have enjoyed a wonderful live virtual talk about starlings, one of the UK’s most gregarious birds, hosted by Rachel Dowse from The Royal Parks London.
Rachel examined our long history with this bird and the importance of common species to our lives. Our residents had the opportunity to find out more about the great murmuration and why we need to pay special attention to these beauties before it's too late.
The virtual experience was truly enjoyed by all.
Elf Day
Today we were over-run with lots of cheeky little elves!
Our residents have loved Elf Day. The elves have brought with them lots of Christmas Cheer to the home!
Christmas Pantomime
We only had the Oliver twist panto at Sherwood Court this afternoon (Oh no you didn't!) - Oh yes we did! There was plenty of singing, plenty of dancing and so many laughs. A great afternoon enjoyed by everyone!
Jack the Therapy Dog pays us a Christmas Visit
We at Sherwood Court would like to thank each and every one for their ongoing support especially this past few weeks at this time of year, jacks the dog has been in for love and fun.
A fabulous performance from Grace Notes Choir
Christmas festivities are well and truly on the way. The Grace Notes Choir came and visited us this afternoon and performed a heart-warming carol service. The residents thoroughly enjoyed the service, we are fortunate to find such a lovely entertainment for our home.
A Visit from Mrs Clause and Santa's Helpers
Today at Sherwood Court, we have made every resident feel loved this Christmas. Santa sent Mrs Claus and the helping elf to our home to deliver Christmas presents. Wishing all of our Sherwood family a very merry Christmas!
