Activities at Tixover House Care Home
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Hello, my name is Caroline and I joined the team at Tixover House in 2023.
I am passionate about creating person-centred activities which ultimately enrich our residents' lives. My main aim is to bring happiness through the doorway daily; spreading smiles, laughter and love - I want to make a difference to the lives of those that we support.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Tixover House Care Home
Birthday Celebrations
We celebrated a resident's birthday with a beautiful cake that was made by Kashia our Head Chef.
Sunday Church Service
We had a church service held here at Tixover with great music and singing. It was such a beautiful morning!
Weekend Walk
A few residents went for walk around the grounds, taking in the beautiful scenery and enjoying the fresh air.
Valentine's Day
We celebrated Valentine's Day with entertain from Myson and his guitar. Everyone enjoyed a good ol' singalong and beautiful heart shaped biscuits and tea.
Christchurch Day Centre
We were invited to Christchurch Day Centre in Stamford and had a most enjoyable day filled with quizzes and entertainment. We had good chats with loads of different people and new friends were formed. There was a beautiful cottage pie lunch and school children came in to say hello and presented everyone with a single red rose for Valentine's Day.
Thank you to all the Christchurch staff for a great day. We look forward to the next one!
Lunch Trip
We are invited once a week to have lunch with Evergreen at Morrisons. Jason Wagstaffe, the community Champion of Morrison’s in Stamford, prepared a fantastic lunch for all the residents. A big thank you to all who helped on this day!
