Activities at Tixover House Care Home
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Hello, my name is Caroline and I joined the team at Tixover House in 2023.
I am passionate about creating person-centred activities which ultimately enrich our residents' lives. My main aim is to bring happiness through the doorway daily; spreading smiles, laughter and love - I want to make a difference to the lives of those that we support.

Shopping Trip
Residents enjoyed a recent shopping trip out. It's always nice to get out and about!
Centenarian Celebrations
The Lord Lieutenant of Rutland visited the home to meet the residents and join in with our activities for a morning of birthday celebrations.
Car Boot Sale
We hosted a car boot sale on 29th September, and it was a huge success.
Summer Fête
Residents, guests and staff members had a wonderful time at our recent Summer Fête. Thank you to everyone who helped to make it such a huge success.
A trip to Oundle School
Residents and staff enjoyed a trip out to our local school, Oundle School, recently. Residents loved interacting with the school children and they are already looking forward to their next visit.
Stamford Fete
Some of the staff from Tixover spent the day at the Stamford Fete recently to support and raise money for Barchester's Charitable Foundation. Everyone had a great day chatting to the locals and enjoying the fine weather!
