Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Hello, my name is Caroline and I joined the team at Tixover House in 2023.
I am passionate about creating person-centred activities which ultimately enrich our residents' lives. My main aim is to bring happiness through the doorway daily; spreading smiles, laughter and love - I want to make a difference to the lives of those that we support.

Christmas Singalong
We enjoyed a fantastic afternoon with Gavin Burke, who sang all the old tunes that we love. Of course, residents, had to join in for a good ol' singalong.

Bonding Session
A lovely resident here at Tixover House recently spent some time teaching a carer how to knit.
It's All About Rose
Resident, Rose, enjoyed making fairy cakes for other residents recently, followed by a stroll across the grounds, all wrapped up nice and warm. Happy Rose Day!
Singing for Memory
Singing for Memory were here to entertain us on 15th November 2017. This activity was enjoyed by all residents.
A Special Visit
We had a lovely visit from a special little lady; Louise Mannion brought in her beautiful granddaughter for us all to make a fuss over on Friday 10th November.
