Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Hello, my name is Caroline and I joined the team at Tixover House in 2023.
I am passionate about creating person-centred activities which ultimately enrich our residents' lives. My main aim is to bring happiness through the doorway daily; spreading smiles, laughter and love - I want to make a difference to the lives of those that we support.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Tixover House Care Home
Card Making
Stamford School visits our home a few times a month. During their most recent visit they enjoyed making cards with residents.
Dance Performance
These beautiful young ladies from Welland School of Dancing came to entertain residents, who totally enjoyed their performance on Sunday 5th November.
Nicky Downs is Down to Party
Nicky Downs came to entertain us again with songs through the ages, which were enjoyed by all!
Employee of the Month - October
Staff members and loved ones nominated Francis Pollard as Tixover's Employee of the Month for November. Well done, Francis!
Halloween Party
Residents and staff had good fun at our Halloween-themed party. Everyone enjoyed a quiz and films, followed by tea and Halloween cakes – a spooky time was had by all!

Residents have been decorating cakes and cookies for the Halloween-themed afternoon tea – an activity they all enjoyed!
