Activities at Trinity Manor Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Father's Day Quiz

We recently celebrated father's day, thanking all the amazing father figures in our lives...

Everyone gathered together for a Trinity Manor pub quiz whilst enjoying a favourite tipple or two and snacks.

Quiz Master extraordinaire, Joe, then really put their gray matter to the test, as they worked in small teams of two or as individuals to answer all the questions correctly!

It was a close finish, which ended with a tie break question.

Well done everyone and a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all!!!

The Aftermath...

Do you want to know what went on post jubilations? We let's fill you in with a little poem: -

When all was cleared and put away,

The Trinity staff came out to play!

Clearing away the cups and dishes,

The staff worked hard, but there one wish is...

When guests had left and all departed,

Outside the Trinity team all darted!

They jumped upon the bouncy castle,

Clearing away had been no hassle...

But finishing with a little fun,

Just the ticket for everyone!

So thanks to our staff, some AMAZING FOLK,

Who occasionally like a laugh and a joke.

For making all the residents smile

And Jubilee memories to last a while!

So jump away you happy lot...

We're so grateful for the staff that we've got!

Jubilee Flashback...

There were just so many great moments captured at our recent jubilee party, that we had to post again!

From residents to family and all our special friends who attended this event, we cannot express how much we appreciate you all.  The who day was filled with so many smiles and laughter as we spent time together in a great celebration.

The whole day was indeed a much needed togetherness tonic after the past 2 years.

Many thanks to all who came and supported the home and a special thanks to our residents for being amazing!

Flowers Fit For a Queen

Residents here at Trinity Manor recently spent a wonderfully productive and social afternoon as they created some beautiful floral tributes to Her Majesty the Queen...

The top floor dining room really was a hive of activity, and in between the cups of tea and slices of cake to keep them all going, they created some lovely table pieces to decorate the dining room over the jubilee weekend last week.

Residents were joined by some of the home's volunteers, who also assisted with suggestions and encouragement when needed.

Thank you to all involved, you really did the home proud and the tables looked wonderful as a result.

AMAZING Carers!

Carers week here at Trinity Manor gives us the opportunity to highlight the incredible work that our carers do day to day here in the home.

It takes a very special person to be a carer, but it takes an EXTRA special person to be a carer at Trinity Manor - after all, we didn't get outstanding in care on our CQC inspection with just any old carers!

So this week, Deputy Manager, Paul, was on hand to distribute some yummy treats and thank you cards to celebrate carers week.

We want to say a HUGE thank you to our phenomenal care team - YOU ARE AMAZING!

JUBILATIONS GALORE!!!

Jubilations indeed were had by all the residents of our home at the special party we held in honour of Her Majesty's 70 years on the throne!

Joined by many family and friends of the home, as well as entertainer, Jan McNeill, donning her very best union jack flag dress, residents were treated to a fantastic buffet lunch courtesy of our lovely chefs, as well as the most epic cake, which was homemade for the residents by Admin Manager, Becky King.

With a bouncy castle for the children, Pimms & lemonade for the adults and the sun shining high in the sky, it was the perfect mix for a jubilation celebration!

'Long live the Queen!'
