We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Life at Waterside Court Care Home
International Firefighters Day
Today we celebrated International Firefighters' Day at Waterside Court alongside the firefighters from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service (Official). On this day we acknowledge the sacrifices of those who have lost their lives while serving the community.
We really wanted to send a big THANK YOU to the local firefighter team, for all they do in protecting our communities night and day!
Our residents and staff think you're all amazing and really enjoyed seeing the engine close up and spending time with you chatting over tea & cake.

Professional Symponia Event
Thank you to Jeremy Davies from Symponia who invited local solicitors into our home to introduce their 2022 programme along with a refresher on how current legislation works.
Exercise Fun For All
Regular exercise is good for your mind, body and soul. Will from The Caring Physio had the Waterside family up and stretching the morning aches away, even Monty had a go! Wagging his tail along to every movement. He and the group deserved a few treats after this session.

The Amazing Saxman
Earlier in the week our residents and staff were up singing and dancing to the rhythmic tones of 'Alan Hook' with his amazing saxophone playing. We look forward to the next swing session!
