Activities at Westgate House Care Home
Our role in the home is fundamental to ensuring that our residents enjoy a fulfilling quality of life. We strive to provide a stimulating, creative & varied range of activities & events in the home, which everyone can enjoy whether they prefer social group engagement or one to one interaction. Residents choice is what we aim to provide to the best of our abilities. We enjoy being creative, sharing projects and discussing with our residents the kind of activities they would like to enjoy. Both indoor and outdoor activities are offered to cater for all tastes as well as regular outings to local places of interest.

Kelly and Sandra have worked for Westgate House for over 12 years, so have many years’ experience. They love having fun with the residents and providing a variety of activities.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Westgate House Care Home
Joan & Rose of Westgate House
Joan and Rose spend most of their days together supporting and encouraging each other at meal times and through activities. Rose and Jean's families are also supportive, not only of their friendship but of Westgate House in general, and both families like to visit and relax at our afternoon tea club. They are inclusive of all residents who attend and welcome everyone to join in with them. Friendships and families like this are a great part of the life and team spirit that is at the heart of Westgate House.
Garden Party
Westgate's garden party was a resounding success, with people from all over the community stopping by to enjoy the food, fun, and festivities!
Celebrating Ramadan
Ramadan was celebrated in July; General Manager, Brinah, accepted a donation of toiletries from our local Minhaj Women's League representative, Ouzumunt, as an end of Ramadan celebration gift for all residents.
Brinah's Birthday
Staff celebrated General Manager, Brinah Nyamugure's, birthday with balloons and flowers.
Westgate House's June Employee of the Month
Congratulations to Ronke Osakwe, who was declared June's Employee of the Month at Westgate House.
Employee of the Month - May
