Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Keeping Busy
Resident, Martin, kept himself busy by assembling our cleaning trolley.
Cinema Trip
Residents enjoyed a trip out to the cinema at Bridgnorth on Monday 16th January to watch La La Land. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves whilst munching popcorn, and danced all the way home!
The Christmas Spirit!
Staff at Wheatlands loved the festivities and getting involved with the Christmas celebrations. Residents and staff all enjoyed themselves at the residents' party on 16th December. There was lots of delicious food made by our Chefs and plenty of Prosecco to go round! Well done to everyone for making the most of Christmas.
Sunshine Pride Awards
Kim Sharp (right) was a finalist in the Carer of the Year category at the Sunshine Pride Awards, which was held on 3rd November at Three Counties Hotel in Hereford.
Harvest Festival
Residents enjoyed making fresh bread for the Harvest Festival, and the vicar held a church service at the home.
