Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Card Games
Residents and staff members had lots of fun playing card games.
Arts & Crafts
Residents enjoyed doing arts and crafts. This is one of their favourite activities and is always enjoyed with tea, coffee and cake.
Dementia Friends
We were treated to a lovely visit from the local girl guides who hosted a brilliant Dementia Friends session here at Wheatlands.
Musical Entertainment
We had a singalong with firm favourite, Hugh, and residents really enjoyed joining in with the good ol' classics, with a glass of Pimm's on the side.
