Activities at White Lodge Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators here at White Lodge enjoy the fulfillment of helping residents feel important and a part of something. Meaningful moments are created through laughter and comfort. A varied activities programme is offered for the betterment of residents' bodies and minds, including music for health, 'Oomph' sessions and chair Zumba, in addition to coffee and cake groups that all inevitably lead to giggles and old fashioned singalongs. Also, we organise parties, trips out, walks in the country, bus outings and wonderful entertainers to visit our home. A sneaky tipple is always welcomed with cheese and crackers and, at the end of the day, it is important to go home knowing our activities have made a difference.

Vintage tea party for the Hook WI
White Lodge offered their thanks to the support recieved from the Hook WI today with a vintage tea party.
With a selection of finger sandwiches and cakes on offer it was a great afternoon enjoyed by everyone. We hope to see them all again very soon!
Macmillan Coffee Morning
Our Macmillan Coffee morning was a great success thanks to all the families and visitors who came along to support this worthwhile cause. White Lodge managed to raise over £80 in total!
Celebrating Roald Dahl Day
What a fun day at White Lodge, celebrating Roald Dahl Day with our Charlie and the Chocolate factory event! With support from Wootton Bassett Library reading chocolate poems, Tadpole Primary school and of course the residents and staff everyone had fun in the search for the golden ticket!
Pottery lesson at White Lodge
The residents enjoyed a pottery lesson at White Lodge today, working towards our project for Remembrance Sunday in November. Using the tools and under expert tuition, all the residents created clay poppies to decorate at the next session.
Afternoon Concert at White Lodge with Celebrating Age Wiltshire
A fabulous afternoon in conjunction with Celebrating Age Wiltshire was enjoyed at White Lodge today. With the amazing Claudia Banks singing a variety of songs from light opera music to familiar folk songs. Many people came from the local community and even as far as Lynham to enjoy this event, with home made cakes, tea and coffee prepared by the chef at White Lodge. Transport was provided by White Lodge for anyone who wished to attend. We are planning another event in February so please register your place early by calling White Lodge on 01666 860381 and asking for Tina.
