Activities at White Lodge Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators here at White Lodge enjoy the fulfillment of helping residents feel important and a part of something. Meaningful moments are created through laughter and comfort. A varied activities programme is offered for the betterment of residents' bodies and minds, including music for health, 'Oomph' sessions and chair Zumba, in addition to coffee and cake groups that all inevitably lead to giggles and old fashioned singalongs. Also, we organise parties, trips out, walks in the country, bus outings and wonderful entertainers to visit our home. A sneaky tipple is always welcomed with cheese and crackers and, at the end of the day, it is important to go home knowing our activities have made a difference.

Sound Therapy at White Lodge
Our residents enjoyed a session of sound therapy which helps to relieve stress and is fantastic for relaxation.
White Lodge takes part in the Christmas Tree Festival!
White Lodge residents, staff and visitors have taken part in this years Christmas Tree Festival at St. Bartholemews Church. What an amazing effort and great decorations all handmade!
Sharing Treasures
Residents and visitors re-discovered and shared stories led by creative reminiscence artist David Davies at White Lodge. Music, objects and postcards helped lead great conversations.
Make a Wish at White Lodge
It was a wish at White Lodge for one of the residents to make her famous lemon drizzle cake! With a little help from the chef the end result was delicious!
Spooktacular Halloween Themed Party
Residents and visitors enjoyed a spooktacular afternoon with cheese and wine today at White Lodge. With Halloween themed decorations, pumpkin planted floral decorations and spooky tableware, it was a great atmosphere and enjoyed by everyone!
It's a Cracker!
We have all gone crackers at White Lodge with a cracker making activity! Many thanks to the volunteers and children who joined us and created some lovely crackers for the Christmas table.
