Activities at Badgeworth Court Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators provide a stimulating social programme to suit residents' individual tastes and desires, and offer group or one-to-one activities based on individual preferences. We are a dedicated team that always ensures residents have enough to do to keep them stimulated and entertained. There are regular trips out on the minibus to nearby places of interest, and exercise classes to suit people of all capabilities, in addition to much, much more.

Hello, I am Corinne and I am the activities coordinator at Badgeworth Court. I previously worked in finance and wished to broaden my career. I have diploma in Performing Arts and Business, and I have background in the entertainment industry. I am committed to providing a broad range of activities and events with a focus on person centred care.
As a team we are committed to Barchester's Life Enrichment Programme ensuring we work with mind, body and soul.

Life at Badgeworth Court Care Home
"Outstanding" celebration
Our team members and residents at Badgeworth Court Care Home, have celebrated the recent Care Quality Commission Inspection rating! We scored an overall "Outstanding" after being reviewed for a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led service. In celebration of the rating, CEO of Barchester Healthcare Dr Pete Calveley visited the home and has provided each member of the team a £500 gift voucher in appreciation of their hard work. We've also welcomed our Regional Director Xin Zhao, Manager Director Lorna Rose, MBE Dementia Care Specialist Deena Heaney and also Home Managers from the Barchester Healthcare Central Division. Congratulations to all the team!
Brazilian Traditions
As the weather is still warm and sunny, we decided to explore some Brazilian traditions. First, our residents enjoyed a cooking class, where they experimented with some new themed recipes, followed by a relaxing music performance by a guitarist, Steve. To finish the lovely day off, everyone had the chance to enjoy refreshing fruit cocktails. It was a great Saturday at Badgeworth Court.
Busy Monday at Badgeworth Court!
Our residents started the morning with a visit to our hair salon, where they enjoyed a lovely pamper session provided by our Hairdresser, Kerry. Throughout the day, our residents were treated to a fantastic show by Cats Pyjamas. A lovely musical show with hits from the 60s. Everyone was thrilled to sing along and practise their dance moves. There were refreshments and delicious homemade cakes too, made by our talented Hospitality team members. A great time was had by all.
Summer Fete
What a fantastic day! Thank you to everyone who supported our Summer Fair event today; it was a huge success! A big thank you to all the team at Badgeworth Court and others who helped support the event. It was lovely to see so many families, visitors, residents and staff all coming together on this sunny day for our annual event.
Double Celebration for Badgeworth Team
The Badgeworth Court team started the week being awarded Team of the Year in their region in the Barchester Care Awards 2022. This is well deserved recognition for this outstanding team.
Badgeworth Court then ended the week delighted to announce Badgeworth Court Care Centre has been rated overall OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission.
We have been awarded two outstanding rating for key questions of responsive and well-led and three good ratings for key questions of Safe, Effective and Caring. We would love to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of our team of Badgeworth Court and our amazing leader and mentor, Regional Director Xin Zhao.

World Chess Day Games
Today we celebrate World Chess day with a game between residents and team members. It was a great afternoon and after the tense play we enjoyed coffee and cake in our Reception!
