Activities at Badgeworth Court Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators provide a stimulating social programme to suit residents' individual tastes and desires, and offer group or one-to-one activities based on individual preferences. We are a dedicated team that always ensures residents have enough to do to keep them stimulated and entertained. There are regular trips out on the minibus to nearby places of interest, and exercise classes to suit people of all capabilities, in addition to much, much more.

Hello, I am Corinne and I am the activities coordinator at Badgeworth Court. I previously worked in finance and wished to broaden my career. I have diploma in Performing Arts and Business, and I have background in the entertainment industry. I am committed to providing a broad range of activities and events with a focus on person centred care.
As a team we are committed to Barchester's Life Enrichment Programme ensuring we work with mind, body and soul.

Spanish Themed Music and Tapas
Badgeworth Court Care Centre residents enjoyed celebrating National Beer Day with a Spanish theme including tapas and Spanish music! Steve played a fabulous selection of Spanish Songs. What great upbeat tunes we could all tap along to. Thank you to our hospitality team for the authentic food and selection of beers.
Badgeworth Court Celebrate the Queen's Official Birthday
Badgeworth Court celebrated the Queen’s Official Birthday in style! It was a delight to have local children visit to make crowns with our residents. Afternoon tea was enjoyed in the gardens accompanied by a musical performance from Timeless Tunes.
Mary, a resident at Badgeworth Court Care Centre, said: “The Queen is an amazing lady who has done so much for this country so it was a wonderful way to remember her and pay our respects. What a great start to the weekend.”
Carers Week Celebrated with a Special Treat
Badgeworth Court have celebrated Carers Week with a special surprise for our wonderful, dedicated and hardworking carers Amanda our visiting reflexologist provided hand massages to our carers with a relaxing music playing in the background, this was so enjoyed by everyone.
Barchester kindly sent chocolate treats for each carer, with kind messages from our residents we are sure they know how much they are appreciated.
Dementia Barber Visits for Gentleman's Pamper Day!
Badgeworth Court were delighted to welcome the Dementia Barber Tom today for a special gentleman’s pamper day. While waiting for their cut our chaps could enjoy a beer and catch up with friends as well as meeting residents from Barchester Ashchurch View who joined us today.
We also held a service today to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee singing the Queen’s favourite hymns with your friends from Evangelical Presbyterian Church. It was then time for more refreshments with afternoon tea for all.
It was a very enjoyable day and nice to treat our gentleman residents.
Let the celebrations begin for the Platinum Jubilee 2022!
We started the celebratory long weekend by watching the trooping of the colour accompanied by a delicious Royal Red Cocktail with a selection of Royal themed sandwiches.
Residents in Memory Lane shared their memories of the Queen's and Royal Family including the Coronation, for so many it was the first time watching an event on TV.
Badgeworth Court is beautifully decorated with everything is ready for our Jubilee afternoon tea in the grounds on Saturday.
Employee of the Month
Congratulations to Diku who is Employee of the Month for May at Badgeworth Court Care Centre.
Diku is a lovely Carer, she is kind, considerate, hardworking, and dedicated to her job and our residents.
