Activities at Badgeworth Court Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators provide a stimulating social programme to suit residents' individual tastes and desires, and offer group or one-to-one activities based on individual preferences. We are a dedicated team that always ensures residents have enough to do to keep them stimulated and entertained. There are regular trips out on the minibus to nearby places of interest, and exercise classes to suit people of all capabilities, in addition to much, much more.

Hello, I am Corinne and I am the activities coordinator at Badgeworth Court. I previously worked in finance and wished to broaden my career. I have diploma in Performing Arts and Business, and I have background in the entertainment industry. I am committed to providing a broad range of activities and events with a focus on person centred care.
As a team we are committed to Barchester's Life Enrichment Programme ensuring we work with mind, body and soul.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Badgeworth Court Care Home
Special Presentation from RNLI at Badgeworth Court
This week Badgeworth Court Care Centre organised a special visit from RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution). Our resident David has supported and volunteered for them over many years. David’s friends and our activities team supported by the RNLI, arranged the event to support this great cause and thank David for his dedication. A presentation was made to David in recognition of his support and volunteering for almost 30 years.
Badgeworth’s chef and his team provided drinks and a special cake for the occasion, along with the Activities team arranging a raffle to help fundraise and support this great cause.
Happy St David's Day
Happy St. David's day from Badgeworth Court Care Centre.
Our residents enjoyed a fun packed day starting with our lovely team delivering daffodils to residents and the Badgeworth family. We were then busy in our arts and craft session making daffodils to decorate the home.
In addition, our residents enjoyed a trip to Webbs Garden Centre, this was top of the list of trips residents' requested. The residents took the opportunity to do some shopping and look at the plants.
Gfitness Exercise Class
Residents at Badgeworth Court Care Centre enjoyed limbering up with a fun and gentle fitness session to music with GFitness. Residents were able to comfortably lift and stretch under expert guidance! For those who did not wish to join in or were unable to take part in the group session, GFitness offered hand massages in the comfort of their bedrooms.
Mindsong Music Afternoon
It was a lovely surprise for our residents to see their Mindsong friends again and sing along to our favourite tunes.
We also had a visit from our Volunteers from Pate's Grammar School.
As part of our regular programme of events Mindsong will visiting to perform on Fridays in our Main Lounge. We are so grateful for the volunteers who give their time for our residents.
Pamper Time
With our own luxury salon at Badgeworth Court, residents really enjoy their time in there and we keep our hairdresser very busy! The salaon is also regularly used for manicures.
Sharing the Love with the Community
At Badgeworth Court Care Centre we are sharing the love and friendship with all our residents, families, friends and the team.
Today we made some special deliveries; coloured hearts from Pate's Grammar School and crochet hearts from takeheartxo. Everyone was delighted to receive such personal and thoughtful gifts from the local students and community. There were also sweet treats of chocolate hearts. We would like to thank our community so much for their kindness. Every community within the home has their own tree of hearts so the love and kindness continues.
