Activities at Badgeworth Court Care Home

Our Activities Coordinators provide a stimulating social programme to suit residents' individual tastes and desires, and offer group or one-to-one activities based on individual preferences. We are a dedicated team that always ensures residents have enough to do to keep them stimulated and entertained. There are regular trips out on the minibus to nearby places of interest, and exercise classes to suit people of all capabilities, in addition to much, much more.

Life at Badgeworth Court Care Home

Sunny Days

Residents of Badgeworth Court have welcomed the spring sunshine.

Some quality time has been spent in the garden by our residents and team members. This includes walks around the Badgeworth Court grounds, games in the sun, fresh drinks and watering our flowers.

The Value of Compassion

A big thank you to the children in year 4 at Shurdington CE Primary School for their lovely letters to residents.

Residents are now writing back to their new pen friends, answering questions and telling life stories, as well as including positive messages.

Easter Celebrations

Our residents enjoyed the Easter celebrations with a virtual church service, following our Easter raffle.

Our chef provided a special menu to our residents and, in our main lounge, they could each find a little surprise.

There has been lots of laughs and fun enjoyed by all.

Pet Therapy

Pet therapy is a much looked forward to activity for many of the residents at Badgeworth Court.

This social therapy dog visits all residents in their individual rooms or in the large spacious lounge, providing support and companionship.

We are so blessed to have our friendly dog, Chili, and our volunteer, Sadie, back at Badgeworth again. We will to book more visits soon.

Royal Celebrations

Badgeworth residents and team members marked the Queen's 95th birthday in style with live musical entertainment and an afternoon tea.

Our chef whipped up a tasty selection of freshly-baked cakes for the occasion, all washed down with a selection of cold drinks for this lovely sunny day.

Our residents were very pleased with the celebrations, and how wonderful to enjoy live performers again a great afternoon enjoyed by all.

Life on the Homefront

The residents of Badgeworth Court have enjoyed a reminiscence session: "Life on the Homefront" with a Collection from Wilson Arts in Cheltenham.

Wilson Arts Collective provides important opportunities for our residents to gain new experiences and developing their skills.

This session encourages our residents and team members to share memories, stimulating mental activity, good social interaction and strengthening friendships.
